Everthing I am or hope to be I owe to my Angel mother

I missed a mothers day post in the hustle and bustle of it all. I could have just skipped over it but why? My mom deserves to know just how great she really is!

My mom is the best cheerleader, doesn't matter what us kids were doing, she was there cheering us on! She was there when things got rough and told us to keep going! She believed in me when it felt like nobody else would!

She always pushed me to be better, aim higher and to dream bigger! Last weekend I got kidney stones, it happened 5 min after she walked out the door and I don't know what made me cry harder, the fact she wasn't there or the pain! Shes the best doctor! She could mend a broken foot all the way to a broken heart that didn't seem mend-able. She is the best shoulder to cry on!

My mom always knew/ knows the right thing to say, or when to not say anything at all!

Shes my best friend! First person I call on my way to work, and the first I call on my way home! (yes I still call my hubby but moms are better listeners!) Shes so good at inviting me to runs simple errands with her just so I dont have to be lonely for an hour! She calls at 9 on Saturday mornings wondering where I am! ( I hate being home alone obviously!)


I remember calling her one day on my way home from work, for whatever reason I told her I was thirsty, when I walked through her door there was a huge glass of ice water! She had stopped her sewing project to get that for me, simple yes, but it made my day!

She doesn't mind that all us kids still come over during lunch breaks only to eat her food and make a mess of her kitchen!


Its not rare that I come over and she has a new shirt for me. Shes the most selfless person I know!
Shes the best decorator/ home re-modeler! Whether it be crafty, wedding cakes, sewing, painting, doesn't matter shes the best at all of it.


I could not even tell you a time she has complained! My mom is such a rock, in all sad occasions I've seen her in (passing of both parents) she holds everybody else up, knowing its taken a huge toll on her, and her everyday life!

Shes the best grandma to my niece and nephews, In fact I'm convinced there's not a better grandma out there!

I could seriously go on and on, not a day goes by that I'm not forever grateful for my mom, If I turn out to be even half the women she is, I'm set! I love you mom...
Needless to say I have the best mom ever! So happy late mothers day mom, I'm so glad your mine!

The most wasted of all days, is the one without laughter!

I'm so glad that not a minute goes by where Austin doesn't make me smile or laugh. Boy am I lucky to have this boy!

I wish....

Currently I wish:

I would be better about making dinner, okay just making dinner ever would be a good start.
That my cute husband had a lunch in the fridge every morning. Once upon a time I did this, okay only for like 2 weeks, but 2 weeks non the less.
That I was done with school, it seems to be getting the best of me lately, I gotta find some motivation somewhere.
That the darn sun would shine, :(
That I didn't just leave the house with: a dirty mac n cheese bowl, cake pan, cookie pan, plate with cake remains, cup, and a bowl in the sink.
Maybe that I ate healthier and didn't love treats so much! (obviously its a problem ^^^)
I had more time to blog, I really do enjoy it! But because I don't I will go on wishing!
Someday this life will slow down, until I'm enjoying the chaos, loving that boy, and appreciating the life we have, love, and share! :)

HapPy BirThdAy!

So for a quick update...
We had a great mothers day! We are sure blessed with the best moms anybody could ask for! That weekend was Ashlee's birthday so she had the weekend off so her and Dave came down, as well as Alyssa! We took our family pics and then just hung out. Its been a long time since we have all been together so it was lots of fun! We are lucky to live close to both our families so we were able to see both our moms for mothers day!

Then...
My good friend, Ashley got married! She got married at her ranch down in St George. All of us girls headed down to be there! It was such a good get away weekend! Aust had to work so he couldn't join us but it was sure fun! We spent hours by the pool, playing volleyball, and just talking. A few of us went down to Vegas for a day and that's always a fun time! Saturday we went over to the Ranch to get the whole wedding party ready, we did girl after girl! It was fun to be there! Her wedding was absolutely stunning! It so so dang cute and we had a lot of fun! I'm sure glad for these girls (and their hubby's) we get along perfectly, I don't think we ever stopped laughing, they are the best!!!



Then....
Birthday week approached, and boy was it busy!! We started out with my dads, Monday! Sadly I missed the celebration cuz of work :( but I'm sure he had a great day! My moms theme for him was "jimmered" so she had plenty of posters of Jimmer blown up with my dads face. It was cute! He got "gym" clothes, a "gym" pass, and plenty other things but you get the idea!
Wednesday was my birthday, everybody knows just how obsessed I am with my birthday luckily it didn't let me down! It was a regular day but after work, everybody headed over to my parents to celebrate! My mom made my favorite meal, bowl tacos! Then we opened presents and just hung out! I got way to spoiled, lots of new clothes, jewelry and fun stuff! I got the white watch I've wanted for a while and a new phone from Aust! It was a great birthday!
Thursday was Chelsi's b day. We went over to their house for dutch oven lasagna!! Also opened presents and hung out! We were really slacking on going to the gym this week so Aust said, we would definitely be going right after cake and ice cream! I agreed! We were slowly saying bye and leaving and well I told Aust my stomach hurt! He replied " I don't buy it, your just trying to get out of the gym!" I was curled up in a ball, by this point sobbing, he thought I was just laughing hehe! Needless to say, in 2 min. flat I was down with kidney stones! UGH. No fun! But I'm sure grateful for the priesthood, an understanding, helpful husband (not to mention buff, cuz he had to carry me to the car and to the house hehe) and great parents! Oh and my little brother who had to drive my car home for me and he even put gas in it! Sweet huh?! I'm very blessed! Then Friday came Austs b day. I was pretty bummed I had kidney stones cuz my planes of waking up early, decorating and feeding him breakfast in bed failed! Oh well there's always next year! Luckily I got feeling better and we headed to Red Robin for our free meals, then off to Boondocks for 3 hours of unlimited fun for free! Love birthday week! That night we got pizzas and had friends and family over to celebrate! Aust also got spoiled with clothes, a wii, weed blower and plenty other things... That concluded our birthday week until next year!!!

1 down, eternity to go

A whole year since:

I couldn't stop smiling then, 365 days later not much has changed!
So in love and I love it!


The first month we spent doing this:

It was definitely not my idea of fun, but we learned alot and couldn't be more pleased with our decision to buy our home!

We Spent the remainder of our summer doing:
It never gets old watching him!

We took many a trip this year to:

We learned just how much fun vacations were by ourselves and with friends

Bought and sold of few of these:
As well as many other things!

Had the best holiday season we've ever had:
Decorating our own house was so much fun!

Accomplished something big:
Couldn't be more proud of him!

There was a few sad moments:
But we are greatful to be a forever family!

Most importantly we laughed... alot, loved... even more and grew together!
What a great year it has been, I am so lucky hes mine forever, a year went by to fast
I cant seem to ever get enough of him, good thing we have eternity to go! Its the best thing coming home every night to him!

Life never slows down!

That was a status in my newsfeed a while ago! The post was very sarcastic, it made me laugh, pretty hard. Its pretty much the truth, though I fall into that category. I have this little blog for nothing less than that, telling you just how great my life is. :)

In other news....
We bought a boat. Yup! A boat. I'm sure it'll be fun, that is if the weather will ever decide to change. Its a joke.
Austin is just so excited. He really likes ... No, Loves.... okay is Obsessed with Wakeboarding.
Do I mind?
Nope! Not at all! He is beyond the point of passionate about it and I think its cute. He spent like 3 STRAIGHT weeks researching this boat purchase, making sure it would put out just a perfect wake.
He mentioned he found one, so the next day, I got off work and off to Boise, Idaho we went. 5 Hours later we were towing our boat home!
The next day was spent shining it all up, its brings him much joy! I cant wait till we can actually enjoy it! :)

My little sister I mentioned moved back home, boy has it been fun to have her around. I forget just how goofy we can be. Planning a wedding has been lots of fun.
Her fiance' has spent the majority of the week down here and its been lots of fun having him around, getting to know him. He's a keeper, we like him :)

My little brother has officially grown up. He's off to PROM today. I simply cant believe it, he still seems so little to me. (well not little he's like 2 feet taller than me!) I cant wait to watch out the window as he opens the door for his cute little date, and they ride off to the dance. I loved those days, it'll be fun to relive it with him for a second! :) Good luck Ky, we love you!

I think that's about it, Life is moving right along. We couldn't be happier!

17. Family game nights, writing down on the crazy nonsense that went on without paying any attention.

20. Endless Zoo days. (At least I wish they were still endless :( )

21. Her crazy sense of humor/ giggle fits.

23. I love her because she is simply the best. She has always been there for me no matter what, through thick and thin! She made growing up the best. Our memories, inside jokes, and stories are endless and I love that we could be best friends, I HATE that she lives so dang far away (DARN CHRISTOPHER!)
