We Love Shutterfly

Yup its true, we LOVE shutterfly. My mom and sister use it all the time. We made memory books after my grandpa died of his life, recently followed by a book of my grandmas life as well! We have done cute little posters of the grand kids for my mom to hang on the fridge and I decided I really wanted a cute sign in book for our wedding so we also turned to shutterfly to hook us up. Well they came through, we designed the cutest book, and even better yet it was FREE! Yes FREE, because we set up an account, etc, etc we got all the cool perks. So this Christmas I decided I really wanted to send out Christmas cards! Little did I know however, shutterfly was doing yet another promotion for 50 FREE cards for bloggers! (aren't they great!) I'm so stoked. I want to share this with all of you so you can get hooked up as well and be just as happy as I am.

Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happend.

I never thought this day would come, I never could have imagined it'd be so hard, and I've never been so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge I have of forever families.
My sweet Grandma passed away Thursday. It was so neat to be by her side with our family surrounding her knowing that in just a short time she would be re-united with my grandpa, she would be freed of her body that held her hostage for the last couple months, that she would be able to watch over us forever and someday we would be re-united with her!
My grandma was so fond of Austin, the relationship they shared was so special to me. I'm so grateful for that. My grandma left such a wonderful legacy, I'm blessed to be apart of that. In the past 5 years my sweet grandma has become dependent upon others, namely my mom. My mom is such an example of being selfless and taught me so many things through this experience. I'm so grateful to have been able to live so close to grandma most my life, I learned so many great things from her. There are so many memories we have with her! It was a blessing to be able to take care of her and all her needs, especially in the last 2 months when she was unable to do it for herself.
I will miss making Christmas candy with her, I will miss her long talks always centered around us, never her. I will miss her birthday cards, I will miss being able to take her to church, I will miss her John Wayne movies we were guaranteed to see every time we opened her door, yes, I will even miss her 6 AM phone calls on Saturday just to say "oh no rush I was just curious..." It will be hard driving by her house constantly, knowing she is no longer there, but above all that I am so grateful I was able to be so close to her, I'm grateful for all the memories, I feel blessed to have such an amazing mother due to an amazing grandma, I'm grateful for the legacy her and my grandpa left that I get to be apart of. One day I hope to be as great as her!

We love you grandma, give grandpa a big squeeze for all of us-- until we meet again!

October.

We had a great October, its hard doing all the festivities when your so darn busy! But we were able to get plenty of play time in! We were able to take an awesome trip down to St. George and Vegas with friends... it was such a blast! I'm so grateful Austin has such a great group of friends who all married awesome chicks that are fun to hang out with!

Add ImageOne of my friends just got married. It was so fun to be there with all the girls and spend that special day with her, I also feel blessed to have become so close to so many great girls. This month was full of lots of big changes happy and sad and I'm so glad we could all be there for each other!

We finally got the bike out of the shop so we decided to take one last ride up to Park City to go shopping! We had success. I got an adorable hoody and Austin got some new shirts! Plus we had a great time together and on our beloved bike!
Well that pretty much wraps up our month. I dont have pics of Halloween, we just hung out with friends and had a party it was fun, we both dressed up for work and had some fun with that! Hope you are all doing great!
