** a day without laughter, is a day wasted **

Me: c'mon, please go pop popcorn
Handsome: but... But... Ugh!
Me: PLEeeeeeSE
Handsome: But.. I just don't know how to burn it like you do!

:) He thinks he's funny!
... I guess I do too!

[Doesn't matter how poor a man is, if he has family; he is rich]

I love this time of year, it means lots of family time! We are lucky to have our families so close to us!

Last night we planned a family event, including dinner- pumpkin carving- and the Syracuse pumpkin walk! Brielle and Matt came down so we decided to make a day of it!

Dad went and got pumpkins, and then the creativity started flowing! The weather was just great so we gutted and carved outside until dinner! Mom made a masterful potato bar- perfect fall dinner! :)
After dinner we all bundled up for the pumpkin walk! Matt drives a bus for all the college kids coming back and forth from rexburg to SLC, this happened to be one of his weekends so he just happened to have a 65 seat bus! U better believe all 16 of us rode there in it! It really was hilarious, and very fun! After the walk we continued our carving, the boys ended up carving a temple pres Monsen and angel Moroni- it was pretty dang good!

[And I know that its so cliche to tell you that everyday I spend with you is the new best day of my life]

The babe is working, STILL.
He worked late last night too, when he got home I felt so sick therefore I nodded my head, acknowledging his presence, got off the couch and hit the sack. :(

He got some new motorcycle parts so he stayed up late re-configuring his bike. I LOVE when he does this, well really I just love watching him. I'm sad I missed it.
These are the times I spend aimlessly chit chatting with him. I tell him random stupid stories. He listens, even though he is preoccupied and I'm simply just hovering over him doing his thing. But he listens regardless. He puts up with my curious, dumb, technical questions about his man work. But instead of blowing me off, he takes time to respond and teach me exactly what he is doing. He makes me feel important. Have I mentioned I love this boy. Day in and day out, I cant seem to ever get enough of him.
Back to the point. I didn't really see him at all yesterday, and as for today I wont see him either.
I'm sad.
I miss that boy, cant wait for the weekend spending quality time. I'm glad he's a hard worker, and doesn't complain, don't mind my complaining haha!

[Enjoy the little things, one day you will look back and realize they were big things!]

I wish I had more time to Blog, I really do enjoy it. Time seems to never be on my side. So here we go playing catch up.

Relief Society broadcast- It was great! My mom and sister would tell you I paid no attention due to the fact I was dreaming about our outfits and hair for family pictures. But I really enjoyed Pres Ochtdorfs talk-
Forget not...
to be patient with yourself
that the Lord loves you
the difference between good and foolish sacrifices
the way of the gospel
to be happy NOW!

It was fun to be with my mom and sister, we missed Brielle and Chels but still had a good time. After dinner @ Applebee's we went and visited Grandma's grave. It wouldn't be a true girls night without Grandma. We used to craft and she would sit there in her spot at the table and made sure the conversation never died, she loved talking and hearing us laugh!

Next on the agenda Halloween make up at school! This has got to be one of my favorite things we do at school, to bad its only once a year! As for the school update, I feel like there really isn't one. Its just the same old thing, day after day, month after month. I am getting so burnt out I hate all the changes that never seem to disappear! I find myself more discouraged than anything- UGH! I'm ready to be done so here is to the last, the final 400 hrs---- I CAN DO IT!

UEA- this weekend has been UEA, its been a big bummer that Aust has had to work all the days I was off but we tried to make the best of it. We went to Flo-rider the other night, Aust is so fun to watch. He certainly has the hang of it now and is slowly teaching himself to do tricks! :) I've been crafting/Pinteresting with my sisters and mom and that's been a lot of fun! I love having them live so close, I will have to post pics of our stuff later! We also headed to Ikea for some closure on Mindys part, crazy that such a simple shopping trip turned almost fatal. We sure love that miracle boy! Jen and Becca met us there, its never a bad time when we are all together! :)

Prayers needed:

My sweet husband applied for what he says "A dream job would be" this past week. After applying for 100+ jobs, I just really think its his time to land this job! We are praying he gets it! This sweet husband of mine impresses me daily, I'm sure those people hiring were also impressed, now if they will just give him this job, they will be blessed by him, just like I am day in and out! Good Luck babe-

The Fair!

I simply love the fair! Everything about it. The people watching, the smell, the food, exhibits, shows, I love it all! :) So needless to say when the state fair came back around this year I was all over it! This year most the family was out of town, but my dad really wanted to go so we headed to the fair with Dad, Kyron, Aust and I! We went specifically to see the hypnotist show, which didn't disappoint. It was a fun filled evening and I'm glad we went!!

The much waited for deep fried twinkie!
The face of pure enjoyment!

wedding. trips. new jobs. life.

WARNING:
This post will be long, out of order, and pic overload... EnjOy!

Brielle's wedding came and went. It was a major success. It was certainly fun planning and preparing all the details. She looked great and they are happy as ever - congrats! :)

Ain't she pretty!

Best photo assistants around ;)

In our reception get up.
The morning after the wedding we headed off to San Fran with the Burninghams. First car ride ever with all 7 of us for 12 hrs. It was just great! It was so fun to be with everybody! The vacation was awesome, tiring and our legs were mega sore from all the walking but it was well worth it. We saw all the great must see's and had so much fun! Thanks MOM & DAD B.
** Side note: We got home at like 2 AM. (EXHAUSTED) But we came home to a mowed lawn, kitchen spotless, family room organized and vacuumed, bathroom spike and span, and best of all our room was even cleaned perfectly with 6 loads of nicely folded clothes, towels, sheets, etc. I really have the best parents. I know what our house looked like due to spending the previous week doing wedding stuff, and I KNOW the time they must have infested to clean it. We are very grateful!

The morning after we rushed up to Incom ID for Brielle and Matt's 2nd reception. It was also a hit! the parentals rented out a bed and breakfast so it was fun to just hang and hot tub after all the festivities, as well as getting to know Matt's family better.

After we got back home from Incom we put away our clothes only to repack for St. George! The family left Monday and we will be joining them today and I cant wait!

Oh and a new job. Yup that's for me.
I applied for a full-time position up at STAR. After the looong interview I felt pretty discouraged! I really wanted the job especially being full time cuz I've been begging for that the last 4 years. I'm 1.5 hrs away from benefits so this job would be great. Anyways I thought for sure I didn't get it. To my surprise they called me back and I got it!! I'm super excited about it.
I will definitely miss my kids at Clearfield high, and working with higher functioning kids will be a major adjustment but I'm grateful for the opportunity and just cant wait! Wish me luck first day is Monday!
