Happy Halloween!

So, have I ever mentioned I have the best husband ever. I often wonder how on earth I got so dang lucky. I realize that there isn't a post that goes by that I dont just rant and rave over that cute boy! I just cant help myself, I am so in love with him! We've been married for 6 months now! YAH, time flies to fast- glad I get eternity with him! :) Anyways Austin- nobody can make me laugh as hard as he can, nobody can change my mood with a smirk like he can, he understands me- that takes a lot, he gets me out of my shy bubble, he thrives in awkward situations when I just cringe, he completes me! He's the hardest worker anybody's ever seen, his sense of adventure thrives and makes life so much more exciting! This week I went out to my car to go to work, to my pleasant surprise he had already been out there to start it so it was nice and toasty ( he knows my hatred towards being cold) Alright, alright needless to say he's sure a great dude! I'm so grateful for him each and everyday! :) Thats all! hope you all have a splendid Halloween! Happy trick or treating!

Halloween 2009!

Cold.

I seriously hate, more than ANYTHING being cold. This week has made me so sad, I HATE winter, Utah is certainly not the state for me. But on the plus side I do love winter activities, Christmas, Fall, Snowboarding (tho I am done after about 4 hrs) the first snow fall (its pretty to look at, just not pleasant) etc. etc. I was reminiscing over last winter, what good times we had! I sure do love that boy, I'm glad we are the best of friends and have the very best memories, only more to come! Thanks babe!

Notice my coat& snow. This was Austins crazy idea, a lemonade stand in the middle of November. Ha Ha Ha it was so much fun, we actually made $12 dollars!

Austin taught me how to snowboard. He was such a trooper! I'm sure it wasnt fun waiting for me to slowly make my way down the mnt, lifting me off the lift I was terrified of, listening to me whine about how cold I was and how bruised my butt felt after falling constantly, etc. and he still told everybody I did a great job and was a fast learner! YA RIGHT! How did I get so lucky?

Last but not least. This was my christmas present last year from Aust (and bindings from the in-laws!) Hot pink and very sparkly wakeboard. Once again YAH for summer sports! I'll stick with those! :)

This is a little pathetic that I am admitting this but its true. I am so addicted to this game. Words with friends. Its like scrabble only you play with your friends. Its bad, my brother and I have fought back and forth for days over words. I even call Austin at work to tell him what good words I got.. ha ha its pathetic but a lot of fun! We successfully taught primary again this week, it was the hardest week yet- those kids were crazy! We talked about keeping the sabbath day holy, just some recap:

Austin to a little boy: "What did Jesus do on the 7th day?"
Little boy back to Austin: "He eated!"
Austin: "No that's impossible cause eated isn't even a word!"

About 5 min later, same little boy is practically eating his sweater so Austin said "Hey if you didnt bring enough sweater to share than STOP eating it!"

I got sent home from school for dress code, let me just tell you about this. Our dress code at school changes oh say every other day. Its next to impossible to keep up with. Its become over the top strict and we have all gotten pretty sick of it. Im a very bold/blunt person so I usually stand my ground when it becomes pathetic. (small instance, ya know those popular TOMS shoes, well girls were wearing those, keep in mind they are solid black, except the soles which are white! Anybody who was wearing those got sent home for not wearing solid black shoes) Get real what even is the point of that. EERRR not to mention the head instructor wont even follow dress code "cuz it doesn't apply to her." Anyways enough venting so I went to school wearing a black shirt, black skirt, Black shoes. My skirt had these tiny little white polka dots on it thus making it not solid. Needless to say they said write up or go home. I had some words with the head instructor, let them know I was going home and not wasting my gas to come back so the 5 appts. I had scheduled needed to be rescheduled or somebody would need to fill in. Kinda on the stubborn side but I was so upset. Luckily my mom was my first appt. so she showed up right in time to back me up! UGH.

Miss Alyssa came home this weekend. sadly we wont get to spend anymore time with her but we did get to see her for a min. last night. We miss her alot, shes the best! I was actually good friends with Alyssa before Aust and I even started talking let alone dating. Im glad we are so close! So we miss her but she is having a great time up at school!

And last, but certainly not least we are going to re-live our little getaway again this weekend and I cant wait! Friends, fun, shopping, & sun! its gonna be great so for now that's it! Hope everybody has a great UEA weekend!

Job fair.

Tonight this cute boy:
Got dressed in his nicest suit,
printed off some resumes,
ate in a hurry,
and nervously left the house to go to a career fair.
If we had a brief case, I'm sure that would have been in hand, only to look more professional! I had him do without his "nerd alert" glasses cuz I'm sure he'll impress those employers regardless.

I'm proud of him.

Reality.

See these girls. I love them.

Together we have been through:
break-ups,
engagements,
write ups,
7:00 AM classes,
failed tests,
weddings,
bad haircuts,
colors gone way wrong,
Vegas,
gossip,
meeting each others family, (every member!)
crafting,
eating,
hoping,
dreaming.

So you see we have been together through thick and thin. Sounds lame, I mean after all its only beauty school, but let me tell you what these girls are amazing, there's no way I would be who I am or even where I am without them. Crazy to think we have spent almost every day together since June 9, 2009, only a year but it feels like we've known each other for YEARS! The saddest part of this story is that, that is no longer a reality, most of them graduate this month. :( [BIG FROWNY FACE.] As for me, I still got a year, I don't know how I'll do it without them! Here's to staying best friends for the rest of our lives! :)
