Prayers needed:

My sweet husband applied for what he says "A dream job would be" this past week. After applying for 100+ jobs, I just really think its his time to land this job! We are praying he gets it! This sweet husband of mine impresses me daily, I'm sure those people hiring were also impressed, now if they will just give him this job, they will be blessed by him, just like I am day in and out! Good Luck babe-

The Fair!

I simply love the fair! Everything about it. The people watching, the smell, the food, exhibits, shows, I love it all! :) So needless to say when the state fair came back around this year I was all over it! This year most the family was out of town, but my dad really wanted to go so we headed to the fair with Dad, Kyron, Aust and I! We went specifically to see the hypnotist show, which didn't disappoint. It was a fun filled evening and I'm glad we went!!

The much waited for deep fried twinkie!
The face of pure enjoyment!

wedding. trips. new jobs. life.

WARNING:
This post will be long, out of order, and pic overload... EnjOy!

Brielle's wedding came and went. It was a major success. It was certainly fun planning and preparing all the details. She looked great and they are happy as ever - congrats! :)

Ain't she pretty!

Best photo assistants around ;)

In our reception get up.
The morning after the wedding we headed off to San Fran with the Burninghams. First car ride ever with all 7 of us for 12 hrs. It was just great! It was so fun to be with everybody! The vacation was awesome, tiring and our legs were mega sore from all the walking but it was well worth it. We saw all the great must see's and had so much fun! Thanks MOM & DAD B.
** Side note: We got home at like 2 AM. (EXHAUSTED) But we came home to a mowed lawn, kitchen spotless, family room organized and vacuumed, bathroom spike and span, and best of all our room was even cleaned perfectly with 6 loads of nicely folded clothes, towels, sheets, etc. I really have the best parents. I know what our house looked like due to spending the previous week doing wedding stuff, and I KNOW the time they must have infested to clean it. We are very grateful!

The morning after we rushed up to Incom ID for Brielle and Matt's 2nd reception. It was also a hit! the parentals rented out a bed and breakfast so it was fun to just hang and hot tub after all the festivities, as well as getting to know Matt's family better.

After we got back home from Incom we put away our clothes only to repack for St. George! The family left Monday and we will be joining them today and I cant wait!

Oh and a new job. Yup that's for me.
I applied for a full-time position up at STAR. After the looong interview I felt pretty discouraged! I really wanted the job especially being full time cuz I've been begging for that the last 4 years. I'm 1.5 hrs away from benefits so this job would be great. Anyways I thought for sure I didn't get it. To my surprise they called me back and I got it!! I'm super excited about it.
I will definitely miss my kids at Clearfield high, and working with higher functioning kids will be a major adjustment but I'm grateful for the opportunity and just cant wait! Wish me luck first day is Monday!

Rob.

My brother, Kasey is great! He and I are just alike, because of this a lot of the things I wanted to find in a husband where some of my brother qualities, traits, etc. One of these things being a good group of friends. Kas has a group of like 6 guys that have always been way close, even after all their missions, etc. they've all remained best friends. Anyways to the point. I have always loved that and the relationship they, as well as their wives all have. I was lucky enough to find that with Aust.

Austin has a great group of friends. They are all close and lucky for me the ones who are married have great wives. We get to hang out with them alot and I wouldnt change it for anything.

One of our very first dates was going to Applebee's on a Tuesday at 9 PM. I soon learned this was a 3+ year tradition of Austin's friends, rarely missing a week. I've loved it. On that night particularly I met one of Austins VERY best friends, Roby...

Little did I know at the time, I was soon to become very close to Rob as well! So this brings us to the reason for the blog post all about Roby. In 3 days Rob leaves us for 2 years! AAAWWW.
This sounds like a mission right? Sorta, only not, he's going to PA school across the country to North Carolina (maybe south I can never remember)-- DUKE (he's real smart folks, and single ladies!) This makes us sad.
I dont think I have ever experienced a relationship quite like Rob and Aust. It really makes me sad that he wont be around. I am certain Austin would not be the same person without his side kick- Rob. They met all because of a simple wakeboard magazine on Austin's desk! Those who know Aust know its a big deal and the fact Roby is also obsessed with wakeboarding, you can imagine just how great this friendship is. Besides his obsession with wakeboarding + all the gadgets that go along with it, Roby is seriously just an all around great guy. Austin and I always find ourselves talking about how genuine, sincere, and funny he is after our frequent hangouts! Really he almost seems "too good to be true!"

We are gonna miss: going on many first dates with him, sitting on the front lawn talking about life, how to get rich, and guns, motorcycle riding around the neighborhood, listening to Jane fear for him! Simple hangouts playing rockband or wii, joking around/making fun of each other. A lot of people don't really get Austins selling addiction, but Rob, he gets it! He always says, Austin and him think identical thoughts, he just loves how Aust will say/ act upon them first! (sometimes I don't so much love this but luckily Robs there to remind me not to slap him in embarrassment!)
Good thing those two are good phone talkers, (to each other!) cuz I know that wont change, Rob will be more busy but I know he'll make time to call, even if its just to tell Aust some weird gun law, or a pep talk before a date!! We will certainly miss him but wish him the very best of luck, and we are looking forward to that free medical care coming our way!! (wink, wink!)

long overdue.

Yes I know this is long overdue, but hopefully I can fill you in on whats been going on!
Lets see, June:
Not much went on during June due to the summer that came WAY to late. It was a bummer raining every single day. So lets just go ahead and skip right along to July!

I LOVE the month of July. It feels like never ending activities, fireworks, BBQ's, and friends and family time!

We had a great 4th! Aust actually had it off, first time in forever! We woke up early to catch the big breakfast at my parents, then off the the Kaysville parade we went! We had amazing seats, until everybody crowded the streets left us seeing nothing. My dad wasn't to thrilled with this so we went home! It was super hot out and I don't think Austin minded leaving a parade full of cop cars as he said! We caught the afternoon movie at the dollar theater, Soul Surfer. It wasn't a let down. We had wanted to see it for a while and we really enjoyed it! Love those good heart felt movies that leave you feeling uplifted and better! Later in the afternoon we headed to the park to stake out our seats for the fireworks. Its always fun just sitting around with everybody, playing , laughing and seeing all your friends and neighbors pass by. We played many a game of SKUM! The fireworks were not a disappointment, I love them and I believe Layton has the best finale show around!

A couple of weeks later we were able to go camping with the fam. It was a lot of fun, we spent 3 days up at Perception point! We 4-wheeled, went shot gun shooting, ate lots of yummy food, and just hung out! We tried to spend a day swimming, but the water was definitely freezing so we jumped off a cliff only once, then back to the car, out of the freezing water we went!

Austin has been able to get work off on a few Saturdays so we could go watch some wakeboard events. These are my favorite days! Why? Well because its just my cute husband and I! We lay in the sun the whole day, music, free stuff watching Wakeboarders, its a total relaxing day and I love it!

I had what I thought was going to be a simple deviated septum surgery, needless to say it was much, much more than I bargained for! Thanks to a supportive husband and a very helpful loving mom I got better! It was a week of pure hell, throw-up, blood, tears, and pain! I'm very slowly starting to see the benefits. Don't know if i'll admit it was worth it just yet but maybe when the stitches stop bugging my nose, and I can blow my nose I'll be fully satisfied!

My little sis is getting married Friday so there has been plenty wedding planning and stressing going around, its been a lot of fun doing a wedding with my sisters and mom! Lots of fun memories! We took her bridals last week and it was just so fun! I did the whole 10 yrds on her (hair, makeup, nails, etc!) It was so fun to see her all dolled up in a pretty white dress!
(Bridal shower!)

We've made it to a Rodeo, lots of BBQ's, lots of bike rides, we hit up Lagoon a lot, etc. Summer is just great, and the fun is only beginning! All the family comes into town this week, wedding Friday, Then off to San Fran with the Burninghams on Saturday! Hopefully this caught us up a little, its been to long!

Daddy-

Today's your day! Today I get to tell you just how lucky I am to have you be my dad. Today I get to remember all the lessons taught, laughter shared, blessings given, goofy days, and much more! Today I am grateful for you, well everyday I am but today I want you to know!

Thanks for all the lessons taught, At the time I hated them. Now I can appreciate our long never ending talks, I thought they were lectures but now that I'm a pretend grownup I realize all the love that went into them. You were the best driving coach, even if I burnt out a clutch or two! I realize now that you always knew best and always had my best interest in mind. I'm grateful for your calmness, you never forgot to show me respect, as you always had a calm voice and never yelled or threatened. For that I'm grateful.

I'm grateful for your testimony. I'm lucky to have a dad who teaches the gospel for a living and really loves and understands, and has always instilled its teachings into my mind, which lead deep into my hearts. I'm grateful for your dedication to the church. Your countless late bishop nights, your 5 AM stake meetings, the many girls camps you were a part of, your powerful teaching/speaking ability, though I cant recall ever actually sitting with you in church, I knew of your sacrifice! (well and moms for getting 5 kids ready and to church on time!)

I'm grateful for you blessings. Don't know how I would have ever gotten through school, tests, sicknesses, breakups, just life in general! Thanks for being a worthy priesthood holder its blessed my life tremendously!

Thanks for loving mom. You taught me I deserve nothing but the very best. You treat mom like an absolute Queen, and I feel very lucky to have parents that love each other so much, who have so much respect for each other. That's a blessing not many people have such a perfect love, yet I grew up with one and know just how life should be!

Thanks for your goofy, weird, sense of humor... I mean "umor!" There's always a time to be serious, but for my sake I'm glad that there's plenty more room for craziness! My friends loved coming over cuz they knew you'd have everybody laughing, whether it was singing loudly while making your own words, or showing us how you've mastered sticking your tongue up your nose, it didn't matter, we were always laughing! You are certainly one of the goofiest people I know, I wouldn't change that for a second, I'm grateful for the endless nights of laughing and goofing off, it certainly gave a whole new outlook on life for me. I know I lack seriousness because of this but you always say, sometimes our biggest strength can become our greatest weakness! Lucky for me you taught Austin early on in our relationship this large quirk about me and he handles it well! :)

You are the best fixer. Anything from a burnt out spark plug to more serious stuff, I wouldn't know the more serious stuff, that was always your job and you did it well! You always fixed the chain on my bike, and patched my tire holes. You taught me to be a hard worker!

Thanks for being the best dad out there! I'm lucky to have you hope you know just how much I love you!----
