Soooo... you guessed it, we've been to busy too blog. Oops! :] Life has seemed so incredibly busy lately. Aust wrote on my facebook something to the effect of "see ya in 14 hrs and we will have a brush the teeth party." Seriously that is no joke. It's so sad, we see each other for about 15 whole min. before we go to bed.. [correction: before I go to bed, he stays up late late and studies!] Ugh life. It's sad that we actually saw each other more while dating and living 20 min apart than living in the same house. I feel like all I do is work and I'm sure Aust feels like he only does school! Despite our busy schedules, we try to make some time for [FuN!] We bought yet another motorcycle he he yup folks that makes 2 for the count, 4 modes of transportation and only 2 drivers! Did I mention I LOVE Austin's sense of [adventure!] ;) I absolutely love going on rides, we'll be very sad when its no longer warm enough.
Austin's worst nightmare came true 2 weeks ago...

We got released as Sunday school teachers to become CTR 5 primary teachers. It'll be an adjustment. Austin spent the next week asking me what he did wrong to deserve that, he will need more adjustment time ha ha! We are excited though, our last 2 lessons haven't been too bad, we will see how the rest goes.

Needless to say life is great. We are busy but getting by, we are certainly looking forward to graduation in December! :} Thanks all for visiting! We hope you have a great day!

Summer Lovin.

Summer. We are sad you are leaving! We have had such a great summer, great yet very short due to Austs summer school schedule. None the less its been so fun! We've been on many fun adventures! I have been so terrible at taking pictures lately... once upon a time I had rechargeable batteries but I lost them so I've slacked! So heres to catching ya up on the fun stuff!

We went to Lake Powell with Aust's fam. The reason for no pictures of this trip is simply because we spent a whole day doing this:

being towed. We had a great first day there but the 2nd ended up being a 4 hr tow ride back to the marina going about 7 miles and hr. oh boy.. It was fun non the less! Luckily we have been able to catch up some more boat time with friends and Austin's family so that has been a ton of fun! Austin is doing amazing wakeboarding this year! (well he always does) but he is going bigger and better! Its always so fun to watch!





We Bought each other Lagoon passes for our birthdays so we have spent many a day there as well! Our Friends got passes and its always fun when they join us!



My Fam went to st. George.. We all had a lot of fun, we did many things and it was just fun to be with everybody! It was a house full but so fun!

We picked up this nice ride for a whooping $400! Its been fun, we finally got it registered, spiffed up and bought our cute helmets! I say cute cuz mine is pastel pink! :)

And.. as for the not so fun things, we've done plenty of house cleaning, lawn mowing, working, preparing sunday school lessons, etc etc etc! Life is great! We love being married and the journey its taken us on! :)

SO.... the power at our house is ridiculous. The circuit always breaks and blows everything that was plugged in and working the time of the power outage... thus the reason I do my hair and makeup on our bedroom floor, the plug in the bathroom doesn't work. :( UGH. Anyways I frequent Rocky Mnt. help line. So yesterday I got home from the hottest day of my life! ( The hair studio at work was blazing hot, I felt as if I was gonna faint). I open the door to experience a nice warm breeze... the house was a bloody 87 degrees. I had already been burning up ALL day, so I asked Aust why on earth he didn't have the swamp cooler on, he just kinda looked at me and I went to flip on the lights- you guessed it.. NO POWER. I was so mad. That means dinner is non existent and we had a date night planned with some friends so we were in a rush! Needless to say, we are grateful my parents live down the street, we joined them for dinner and off to Lagoon we went. I called rock mnt. they said it would be fixed latest 8 PM that was perfect until we got home at 11 PM and the power was STILL off! I was not a happy person, I feel semi bad for the tech support person who had to deal with me cuz I was so not happy! One last trip to my parents for a nice cool sleep and the best part of all.. early morning FREE breakfast at Sonic! It made for a good end of a bad experience!

Quirks! :)

I saw this on a friends blog and got to thinking... I have many a quirk so-- here's to name a few!

** I HATE the feel of most glass.. its like nails on a chalkboard to me. I cant handle it! YAH for plastic
** I get really excited over simple dumb things and I uncontrollably have to clap/rub my hands together real fast... embarrassing much, just ask the girls at school!
** I have a phobia of somebody slicing my Achilles tendon while getting into my car then dragging me under, therefore I cant lock my car at night when I go somewhere cuz i need a quick access, no time to put my key in the door and unlock the door its to risky and if I must lock it.. then i stand like a foot away from the door while reaching forward to unlock it!
** I'm obsessed with cleaning my ears with Q-tips if I run out, its like the end of the world.
** I LOVE popcorn I'm slightly obsessed
** In order to sleep, I have to fold my wrists up under my pillow all awkwardly, this has definitely caused carpal tunnel!
**I cant go anywhere without my toes painted, they have only been bare for like 2 hours total my entire life!
** I compare most experiences in life to a song or lyrics.
** My favorite movies are those lame ones that everybody makes fun of, [example: Flicka, Raise your voice, Where the heart is, etc,]
** I don't blow my nose. hard to admit yes- but oh so true I've only succeeded at this maybe twice my whole life!

Just to name a few! What can I say, I'm a weirdo! :)

L.I.F.E

Okay 3rd time is a charm. I am about ready to give up this blog crap cuz i cant figure it out!

Alright so as I have typed 2 times before lol, Life is great! :) couldn't be better we have had an excellent couple of weeks! We got to go camping/boating with friends, finish house projects, hang out with family, go to the lake, and hit up many firework shows! Its been great! We had an amazing saturday last week! Since we have dated I can only recall 2 times Austin took off a Saturday, my grandpas funeral and Lake Powell. Thats it, so as you can imagine I have lonely Saturdays but not the last! :) Austin took off the day so we could go up to the lake and watch a wakeboard competition and fire on the water! Early that morning we were informed that my dads work had rented out the theater for employees and families! YAH! We hurried packed the car and swim suits and went to "How to train your dragon!" It was a cute little show, and fun to be with the family! We left there and rushed up to the lake (picking up Aust's little sis on the way) When we got there they were just setting up so we were able to go a good little rocky beach spot right up close the the wake-boarders! We set ourselves up there and had a great day! There were plenty of vendors to keep us company, pass out free stuff, and entertain! It was the best day I loved spending a Saturday with Austin && miss Alyssa, stress free! We got to do nothing but relax the whole day! It was really hot but so fun! We had some friends meet us up there much later to join us for the fireworks! What a Great Day!

Poor Aust wore his sunglasses the whole day and got this sweet tan line! :) (ps. gotta love the free monster tattoos we all got!)

The week went on. A whole lot of busy like the usual, but the best news of all.. Guess who is FINALLY employed...



That's right I am! :)
I am Ssoooo excited. Its been super stressful this summer not working, well okay not really for me ha ha but stressful for the poor hubby who has had to work a ton more and on top of that keep up with school! I've been looking and applying all over but with no success. It didn't help that I was a bit picky, I have been completely blessed in the fact that I have always loved my jobs, never once have I dreaded goin to work so It was hard for me to try and just settle for something dumb just for a few months. Luckily that wont be the case, I found something I am sure I will love! I still have my job during the school year teaching the kids with special needs but as for the summer I will be working at Hazen Photography studio. I get to do hair and makeup for drill teams and cheerleaders all day long! Basically just prepping them for the photo shoots! YAH! I am seriously so excited so wish me the best! :)

Lately

We are a bit behind on things, but we are doing great! We have had a great couple of weeks! 4th of July was a blast as it always is. We missed Austin he worked most the weekend but i had a grand ole time with the fam! We have been able to go boating a few times and its great! There is nothing like being on a boat, wind in your hair, blue sky above, good company and watching mr Austin wakeboard hs little heart out! We are blessed! Most excitingly this week though has been that our house is officially done, well i guess as most people would say it will never be done there will always be another project but we are finally settled decorated painted and loving it! Major shout out goes to my mamma who has spent every waking moment over there with me helping me put together the last details! She is the best, love you mom! So without further delay.. some pics!
