Playing Catch up...

Wow, its been a while! Sorry! We are back and doing great! Not a whole lot has happened, the usual, lots of work, lots of school, and lots of job applications!

Austin never stops applying for job after job, hes so great! He's good about keeping all of his options open! He still is working hard, I feel so bad for him. Winter is definitely the WORST time to work as a lot tech. I mean who really wants to unlock and brush snow off hundreds of cars :(

I am busy with work, Hazen picked up so I've been working a lot there, it makes for very long work days sometimes but its not bad! School is well, school, kinda dragging but I'm in for the long haul!

Last week Aust sold his car, in hopes of buying a new one the next day, it would have been perfect if the darn guy didnt stretch the truth about this not so great car! Aust wasted a whole day, full of dissapointment and learning experiences! He always keeps his head up! We are currently on the hunt now for 2 cars! Im finally going to get a new one so wish us luck. In the meantime we will be getting rides from family, front runners, or even push scooters! Austin was able to get a few good rides with the motorcycle but due to the darn snow its made that impossible! Im hoping to pick up an Aveo. Austin thinks I'm crazy but I've seriously wanted one for over a year, don't really know why I just think they are so cute! As for Austin... well who knows, after all he will probably only keep it around for 3 months! haha

We had a great Valentines day! I am never disappointed, Austin does so good! We went to dinner at Iggys! (I was so glad! Its been a tradition but I wasn't sure if he remembered that) Its always so yummy! And then we went to Chucky Cheese. Now before you think that's lame let me tell you its been on my list of things to do for well my whole life. Maybe a was deprived as a child but I've never been. When they built one in Layton I was so excited, I've mentioned this many a time so for Valentines day that's what he surprised me with! I was so excited. It was fun to be a little kid again! I sure do love Austin and grateful he gets to be my valentine for the rest of forever!

Well thats pretty much it. Life is great, not to exciting but there ya have it! Oh and p.s. Last night as we sat down for dinner, it was Austs turn for the prayer, I'll admit I dont remember much because it started with "We are so grateful for this ample snow to fill our lakes for an awesome wake board season." He is funny!

  1. haha that prayer is hilarious! I admire your husband working so hard because I hate NOTHING more than scraping snow/ice off of my car. Props to him!
