1 down, eternity to go

A whole year since:

I couldn't stop smiling then, 365 days later not much has changed!
So in love and I love it!

The first month we spent doing this:

It was definitely not my idea of fun, but we learned alot and couldn't be more pleased with our decision to buy our home!

We Spent the remainder of our summer doing:
It never gets old watching him!

We took many a trip this year to:

We learned just how much fun vacations were by ourselves and with friends

Bought and sold of few of these:
As well as many other things!

Had the best holiday season we've ever had:
Decorating our own house was so much fun!

Accomplished something big:
Couldn't be more proud of him!

There was a few sad moments:
But we are greatful to be a forever family!
(We love & miss you Grandma)

We conquered fears, together:

Most importantly we laughed... alot, loved... even more and grew together!
What a great year it has been, I am so lucky hes mine forever, a year went by to fast
I cant seem to ever get enough of him, good thing we have eternity to go! Its the best thing coming home every night to him!
I Love you Babe! :) Thanks for changing my life forever! :)

Life never slows down!

Facebook user: Hey guys I just updated my blog, everyone go check it out and see how awesome my life is!

That was a status in my newsfeed a while ago! The post was very sarcastic, it made me laugh, pretty hard. Its pretty much the truth, though I fall into that category. I have this little blog for nothing less than that, telling you just how great my life is. :)

In other news....
We bought a boat. Yup! A boat. I'm sure it'll be fun, that is if the weather will ever decide to change. Its a joke.
Austin is just so excited. He really likes ... No, Loves.... okay is Obsessed with Wakeboarding.
Do I mind?
Nope! Not at all! He is beyond the point of passionate about it and I think its cute. He spent like 3 STRAIGHT weeks researching this boat purchase, making sure it would put out just a perfect wake.
He mentioned he found one, so the next day, I got off work and off to Boise, Idaho we went. 5 Hours later we were towing our boat home!
The next day was spent shining it all up, its brings him much joy! I cant wait till we can actually enjoy it! :)

My little sister I mentioned moved back home, boy has it been fun to have her around. I forget just how goofy we can be. Planning a wedding has been lots of fun.
Her fiance' has spent the majority of the week down here and its been lots of fun having him around, getting to know him. He's a keeper, we like him :)

My little brother has officially grown up. He's off to PROM today. I simply cant believe it, he still seems so little to me. (well not little he's like 2 feet taller than me!) I cant wait to watch out the window as he opens the door for his cute little date, and they ride off to the dance. I loved those days, it'll be fun to relive it with him for a second! :) Good luck Ky, we love you!

I think that's about it, Life is moving right along. We couldn't be happier!

Happy Birthday

To the best friend ever!
Lara Lou!
23 things I love about Lou:

1. Her random sense of fashion. She can put the absolute weirdest things together and make it work, not only make it work, totally rock it.

2. Her driving, boy do I miss that. (I think?)

3. Her momma, Twanda

4. Naming cars, not just any name, very thought out names.

5. Her heel collection

6. Making harder than a rock Mac N Cheese with her.

7. Giving Annie cat nip and laughing endless hours.

8. Shes the best shopping buddy ever, even when its very last minute.

9. Playing at the princess park, many times in princess dresses.

10. Henna and Lava

11. Stealing siblings cars... (borrowing??) as we solve boy drama, getting stranded, running home in heels.

12. The days of 4 wheeling through the mud.

13. Watching ridiculous movies- Duck soup? (stupid much?) (lol love you lou!)

14. Girls night with bobby, rock band, chips and dip.

15. Driving through the Ford dealership. Again, and again, and again!

16. Listening to Christopher telling us scary stories on the train tracks!

17. Family game nights, writing down on the crazy nonsense that went on without paying any attention.

18. Bowling nights

19. Holi Krishna, that is, before it became BYU's tradition. lol!

20. Endless Zoo days. (At least I wish they were still endless :( )

21. Her crazy sense of humor/ giggle fits.

22. Her unique taste in music.

23. I love her because she is simply the best. She has always been there for me no matter what, through thick and thin! She made growing up the best. Our memories, inside jokes, and stories are endless and I love that we could be best friends, I HATE that she lives so dang far away (DARN CHRISTOPHER!)

Hope you have a great day! Happy Birthday! Love you Lara lou!

ps. I hope you party party party!

catching up!

Wow. Its been a minute! I guess we will play a little catch up. Hopefully I can remember what all has gone on in our lives!
To start off I went to Vegas with Hazen. We left on Sunday and came back the following Sunday! Boy was it a very long trip. Minor recap: Cold weather, worked all day long, right through lunch and dinner; everyday, finally got to eat each night around midnight, 10 very hormonal girls, not so pleasant dancing coach to work with, inside jokes, laughter, quite a few tears, and a not so pleasant 2 hour shopping experience! It was an intense week! There was good times in there but at the time they seemed very few and far between! Needless to say I'm glad I am home!
We had very fun themed days; colored tights, hair accessory, black white patterns, etc! It was fun dressing up with the girls, hopefully all these pics will work so you can see them!

(don't mind this special one lol it wouldn't work!)
While I was gone my little sister got engaged. It was sad not being home but I'm so excited for her and I'm even more excited to plan another wedding with my mom and sisters, that's the best part!

My older sister had her baby Thursday, I took my lunch break and Aust and I went up to the hospital to see them. She had a beautiful baby boy, Luke! We have another nephew on the way within the next 2 months we are excited about!

Friday is our fun day, Austin has it off and I don't have school. We went shooting clear out in nowhere land. Though it was forever away we had fun!

General conference Saturday and Sunday! That's always a fun time, my sisters roommates all came home so we had a big breakfast with everybody! We missed Austin who was working but we enjoyed watching. I'm sure you guys saw this kid after Sunday afternoon session. We sure got a good laugh rewinding and re-watching!

Monday kicked off our spring break. We were really hoping to go on a cruise but it was sold out. I was so glad Austin took the whole week off to hang out and play it was fun! Monday we did boring stuff, cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, etc. But boy was it so much better with him there. Tuesday we went on a nice motorcycle ride, took it easy. We went to Flo-rider, its so much fun watching Aust! Later that night we met up with friends! We have some friends that just moved back from Vegas, we are looking forward to hanging out a lot more with them now they are close! Wednesday we went go-cart racing and played mini golf. Then the real fun began. We went to St. George/ Vegas with our good friends Mike and Marni the rest of the week. Though the weather wasn't great we still had a great time. The boys enjoyed endless hours of Fantasy factory and us girls had fun chit chatting and hot tubing! It was definitely a successful week!

Now back to work and school! Ready or not here we come!
